Posted by: Chance at Thu Jan 20 17:50:28 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Chance ] We ran him outside during the brief warm spell this evening and took these shots. They aren't the best in the world, but I think you get the idea. So what's the consensus then? Still looking like D. m. unicolor? Or is there the potential for an intergrade with D. melanurus? He ended up rubbing his nose a bit on the screening at the top of the 3' slant front Neo I originally set him up in, so I moved him into a 4' Vision until he calms down a bit. He has began to hide now so I think he's adjusting. Before, he was darting all over both enclosures looking for a way out. I'm considering offering him some food soon (esp if my 112 quail eggs begin to hatch in the next couple of days!) to see how well he's settling. For now though, enjoy the pics. [ Hide Replies ]
