All parents and pups from her litter were chocolate. You can imagine my surprise when she had 2 chocolate pups and two yellow! Both the male and female have to have the recessive yellow gene to get the yellow puppy. You need two yellow genes to get the yellow pup. Very cute puppies! [ Hide Replies ]
