In my opinion stealing it would only get you into trouble with your parents, unless they are leo fanatics like yourself. You should ask him if you could have it or if your really that concerned about the poor thing then you can offer him some money. The thing is sooner or later going to die from impaction due to not a high enough temperature to be able to digest the food properly, or parasites, or even the bacterial growth that will soon be growing on the geckos feces if it isn't pick up reguarly. Since its conditions keep getting worst the gecko's stress will make the gecko even more valnurable for parasites and that will kill it soon enough. But by stealing it you'll only make your uncle even more upset with you AND make your parents upset with you as well, but again unless your parents are leo fanatics they wouldn't probably tell your uncle about it.
