The substrate temp on the warm side should be between 85-90 deg. F, and around 70-75 (if I remember correctly) on the cool side of the tank. She may be staying inside because it's staying a little warmer in there - closer to the 85-90 deg. F. Try to get the warm side surface temp up a bit and see if that helps. You should do that for her health anyway. Make sure you are measuring both the substrate (floor) temp as well as the air temp, because you can't tell one very well by knowing the other. | ||
