Well it's interesting to hear what I'll get from this mix. This will be my first year breeding snakes. I'll be breeding my male amel corn to his previous owner's snow corn. They did it last year, but she managed the eggs. We only had one hatch out & it was snow, proving his het. I am growing up a mate for him, a reverse Okeetee corn. I also have 2 Hog Island Boas who will eventually be "for" each other.
I don't want to hybridize my boas as the variety has specific features that are different from the "typical" boa. But I have fallen in love w/ the leucistic rats & when I realized I could breed them to my amel, it got me going.
I don't really have issues w/ hybridization, but I can see that many people do. I actually didn't realize there was a hybrid forum until I posted my question on the corn forum & was referred here.
Well, that's enough rambling for me. Thanks for the help!
