i think so bc when i buit my rough neck cage i put in 100 wats it got like 65 then i put in a 150 with a 250 plant bulb it went up to 80. then i just bough 2 cermic heat bulbs at lll shiped, and it is now up to 90-95 with basking about 100



so i think smaller wated bulb dont ghive off that much heat, like try a 75 see if that helps, bc a 45 wat migh drop the temp alot.

ps ur daughter is lucky haveing all those animals i her room, im lucky my mom lets snakes in the house but she love the new 3 by 3 by 6 cage in our living room with my rough neck in it she thinks it bring out the color or the room bc of all the plants and vine in it.
