We were told by the person we got our little one from to NOT feed the Crested Gecko Diet and to stick with baby food. We were to mix the fruit baby food with turkey baby food. After reading all you had posted here about the CGD and looking into it other places I decided to go that route and began introducing it to Hoolie by mixing the powder in with his fruit baby food. We were slowly increasing the mix and now we've switched to mixing up the CGD with water, waiting for it to gel and then adding some baby food. Hoolie, however, has put his sticky little foot emphatically down and hasn't touched it in days - at least as far as I can tell. He is chowing down on crickets on alternate days, however. Should I hold back on giving him crickets, or go back to the baby food with the CGD mixed in? I don't want to "tough love" him too much since he's still growing, but I do think the CGD is the best thing for him (also because he's still growing). Any advice would be wonderful!
