Posted by: CamHanna at Wed Feb 2 17:08:15 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by CamHanna ] The Perterson field guide, the one Greg suggested, is a great book for IDing just about any reptile/amphibian in Eastern North America but if you are interested in just snakes then I would suggest Snakes of North America (Eastern and Central Edition), 2003, Alan Tennant. It has MUCH more in depth info on each species and subspecies. It's a great book IMO. [ Hide Replies ]
