Even if it were fed only every 10-14 days, it would probably be over 24" at 1 year. Some of the Ghana imports and certianly captive-bred babies can approach 18" at hatching or soon after. A better indicator of age may be its behavior. Does it have a strong tendancy to ball up or is it confident and readily crawl through your hands? If the former, it's probably far less than a yearling, IMHO. SJM | ||
