The soil keeps the egg from bursting early as a surface incubated egg. Leave your egg where it is. Room temperature is all that is needed. A large 5 gallon bucket filled 1/2 full of soil will keep the soil from drying out quickly. Keep semi moist soil as if you were watering a plant. | ||
