.. polymorphic of any Boa locality I have seen, at least when small. Longicauda babies, even from parents that are closely related, have a wide variance in saddle-shape (and count), overall color, tone and contrast. Very unusual in breedings of related Boa ssp.. Of course the ontogenetics kick in as they age and the differences are less obvious when they are mature, still it is an interesting phenomenon.
