Hey, you probably do have a pretty snake, go back and take another picture that represents it a little better. If that is your camera that did that to the pic, it's time for a new camera!
This is a captive bred and born in the USA yearling aru just changing to green. She has continued to gain a lot of white spotting and is very pretty...... and this pic is not photoshopped or altered in any way like yours is. Arus are beautiful in their own right, is there any reason you are trying to mislead people with yours?
Farmed is NOT the way to go, especially for a first chondro purchase unless the keeper is very experienced. Do you realize how many people buy farmed/import animals that when/if they start to have problems come running to the captive breeders looking for help to save their babies? Buy from someone you can get support from.... someone that is willing to take the time to help you out with problems should they arise.
You don't have to spend top dollar to get a well established cbb chondro baby of many locales.... you just have to be willing to accept a less than designer type snake. Most breeders of high end designers are also producing a locale type or two.
Now... go get a pic of your lovely snake that represents it more realisitically..... you can't fool the old timers... sorry.
