For one, this is a ball python and not a burmese python which you happen to be posting to. Just to make sure you are aware of the differences...really...
You ball python looks to maybe be ovulating. The lower third swells dramatically, which is relative depending on how she normally looks. I used to think there was no such thing as a fat ball python, but recently I have seen this more often that I care to admit.
Ovulation in ball pythons will last around 24hrs then subside. 20 or so days later they will go through a shed cycle, shed then about 30 days later, lay eggs. Hope that helps. ----- ================================
