If she has access to higher temperatures, she will take them if she wants them. Let her make the choice, she knows what is best. Remember, their is ambient temp and surface temp and the animals actuall core temp. She may be sitting at a certain ambient temp, but her core body temp may be much higher. In other words; " She may sit on a hot spot for a while and move off and still retain that temp for a good while through thermoregulation.
