Are you standing over them watching? Try leaving them alone after the initial strike. Also consider seperating them during feeding. I feed my baby boas by placing them in a small non-transparent rubbermaid, then after they strike I'll put the lid on. (If snapping the lid is distracting or the tail is sticking out I'll just rest the lid on top and monitor from a distance)
