>>I've been here a little while, and I've noticed there haven't been much discussion on the Diadem Ratsnakes of Spalerosophis. Is this because this isn't a popular genus in this crowd, or is there another forum that covers the Diadems?
Spalerosophis is one of those racer/ratsnakes. Most think it's more racer than rat, and not very many on this forum keeps them, not many that are regulars anyway. It is a very interesting snake in its own right and very little is known about it...a good project for someone. It can be compared to the desert snakes of our Southwest to learn about how these creatures evolved
