I've seen muscle tone go limp particularly in the mid body to tail section when an animal has a high flagyllate infestation. The body gets very bloated and squishy feeling (poor muscle tone) and there's minimal defecation. If this is the case and the animal is not treated it will most likely die. I hope this is not the problem but a fecal smear will show it and it is easily treated. If a vet's not available maybe you know someone experienced that can help you treat it with flagyl. Of course this is only if this is the cause of your animal being limp.
