My previous website was a free geocities site (geocities.com), and I was very impressed with that amount of storage space they actually gave me.. While I did use up all of the storage space, it did take me much longer than I had anticipated.



The site builder program that comes with the geocities subscription is very easy to use as well. No complaints here with geocities..



There are other sites, such as tripod.com and freespace.com, I believe, who have similar free webhosting...



While you won't have your own domain www.tom.com , it is still a free site... my old site was http://www.geocities.com/odatriad
