it only takes once I'm sorry, I couldn't resist saying that If this was the one and only time they ever copulated before he was removed, there is always a "chance" she could become gravid, but I would bet against it. On the other hand, I have talked to people who figuratively whisked a male by the female for a brief moment, and low and behold, babies were made. Most of the time, it takes repeated courting/copulation and even after this, if people remove the males too soon, they can up up with slugs. All you can do is watch her and hope she is not "with-childs". ----- Linda Hedgpeth
