There has been alot of discussion on the validity of locality specific boas.Boas such as the B.C.C that were discussed earlier inhabit such a large contigous geographical range that there would be in certain regions,natural intergradation.Insular species on the otherhand are relegated to a more specific isloated mass of land,bordered by water.Now with the obvious out of the way,there have been a recent small influx of boas being called Hog Island boas.They cannot be legally taken from said "Hog Islands"as they inhabit a natural protected reserve.That being said,these things look,like only one boa I have seen ever.I am 40 years old and remember the original groups that came in,and the look alike in the years to follow.In the 90s,a few came in,under the name"white boas".They were imported through Nicauragua and El Salvador.They were later to be suspected to be "Hog Island Boas".What are everybodies thoughts on this.
