I'm just wondering if there is a balance or a fine line between and along the lines of advantages and disadvantages of an "overweight" ovulating female snake as compared to "normal" weight ovulating female one... whether I am placing my female snake in the future for high risk diseases or shorter lifespan caused by overfeeding in the hopes of getting more eggs to be laid. It would be interesting to see if any long time breeders out there can tell me if: 1) overfeeding does in fact create more eggs as you pointed out in your experience and 2) if overfeeding for the purpose of having more eggs does shorten the lifespan of the snake. | ||
