A females femoral pores remain smooth and almost invisible; a males become larger and more apparent. A male should by this age be showing clear characteristics that differentiate him from a female. Triangular shape to the head, higher spikes on the nuchal crest, widening of the base of the tail with much larger spikes than a female counterpart. My website and webcamera will allow you to see Chinese Water Dragons of both sexes. My dragons are not yet 2 years old. (about 22 months). [ Hide Replies ]
