Blue Beauty scientific name

Hello,

It's been a long time since I last posted but every once in a while I still read up on what's going on. I had a chance to read part of Schultz's Monograph of the Coulbrid Snake of the Genus Elaphe and saw that Elaphe taeniura ssp. are also named Thai Striped-taied Ratsnake. In the reptile store that I buy food, they name the ssp. Vietnamese Beauty Snakes. From the book's descriptions, these snakes are mostly found in Thailand and Burma. So would the term Vietnamese Beauty Snakes be correct? Thank you anyone for helping me out.
