This is an old photo of his mom, still only about 8' long. You can see where he gets that low saddle count and the big tail saddles. The dorsal spotting is a little more elusive. She gave 3 litters, 72 babies (and only 9 infertiles). Makes you wonder where they are all at now?

That male is in this pile somewhere... a lot of people won't take the leap-of-faith that a grey-looking baby boa will come out glowing gold or yellow.. but they do!
