Are you talking about actual muscle spasms. Where the muscles under the skin are constricting on their own creating a visible twitch in there skin or are you talking about sporadic head twitches. I have never personally experienced the muscle spasms but many of my burms have done the head twitching. I am not sure why they do this but I do not think it is anything to worry about as long as the snake portrays normal snake behavior in all other aspects. I have noticed that most of these stop as the snake reaches maturity. I have not noticed any of my snakes do this after reaching about 8' or so. Hope this helps a little. Todd
