Posted by: MountainLyon at Sun Feb 20 12:06:46 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by MountainLyon ] Bertha had her old skin stuck to her lower jaw, so the top hadn’t peeled very far either. Humidity is in the 70s, and I had made her take a couple baths first, even though she was being grumpy while the skin was stuck on her head. She skipped a meal before the shed, maybe that’s why she had problems shedding, from not growing right then. Bathing didn’t work, she had rocks in the cage to rub on but they didn’t work either. I wanted to hurry up and get this tiny little boa fed so it was time to help. I thought it was pretty cool how cooperative she was, obviously figured out that I was helping. [ Hide Replies ]
