Shawn, I call things like I see them. Unless you are (or whoever is in that photo) is 9 feet tall, that snake is not as long or as heavy as you claim it is. And I don't know what you are referring to about elders and "keeping snakes for 6 months", I am nearly 40 and have been keeping reptiles since I was 8 years old, and breeding since I was about 13. Not that I feel any need to submit my resume` to you or to anyone else, but where on earth did you get the idea that I am new to this? lol. I probably got my first successful litter before you were born.

But seriously,.. I just call them like they look. That snake looks maybe 13 to 14 feet and MAYBE 110 to 120 pounds. I am going more by the standard 3 1/2 inch 2x4's than by the person in the photo. Don't get me wrong,. she's still a fine snake. Still large. Still pretty and impressive. Don't be mad at me for being honest. But ask Rob about a 17 foot, 200 pound snake. He has some pics that make this girl look like a coachwhip. No offense.

You have a good day too. And please,. try to not have hard feelings. I do try to keep the forums a nice place.

>> To the rest of you (Brian) I seem to always see you talking down to people........Who are you, and what have you done? What gives you the right to doubt me? In the six months that you have been keeping snake(s), has no one told you to respect you elders? In the future, please refrain from commenting on anything I post, unless you have something positive to add.

>>Thank you, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening.

It isn't "Ideas" that fail or succeed,... it is the "Systems" which are instilled to launch and sustain the idea that either fail or succeed.>[Me.]
