Are hybrids sterile?...Yes and no

It is true that while some hybrids can not breed to make offspring, some hybrids can and will produce. I can't speak for colubrids. But I do know someone that had some trouble with bat eaters(reticxburm).

He told me that he suspected one of his males was sterile. The male had been placed with three different females; one bat eater, one retic, and one burm. None became gravid.

Although, N.E.R.D. has produced jungle retics(bateaterxretic). Also, I belive That some one named Yasser has a 88% diamondxcarpet python. Another example is Brandon Osborne's attempt at breeding a green tree python and a dimondxcarpet python together.
