When You go to your vet ask for Panacure and Flagyl, these are the brand names that they will be familiar with. Good luck and keep us informed to his progress. You mentioned that you didn't have a basking light. I would say that is the most important, not for UVB but for thermal regulation, if he can't get warm enough he won't eat. Although they can tolerate ambient temperatures as low as 70, they should have a basking site where the warmest temperatures exceed 90.
