Sounds like an ok setup. Just be careful where you get the ( from the lawn?) grass and bark from so you don't get some that has been sprayed with pesticide. Also...If it takes a pinkie your doing good. at that size it is normal for them to feed on anoles or smaller snakes. good luck.
