You have to ask yourself is this going to be a pet that I handle and is the snake going to enjoy being handled by me. If yes, then I would go with the hog island boa. Remember boa constrictors are one of the most kept pet snakes. There is a reason. Boas can and do make a great pet. A pet that you can build a pet/owner relationship with.
