You should house your new dragon separately until she is nearly the same size as your male. You male will want to mate with her, and 14-16 inches is way too small. She will probably die from the stress, or from becoming egg-bound. You should house new reptiles separately for several months anyway, to quarentine them, even if they are the same size.
