While I do agree with Hypoboa1 that an aquarium is not the greatest thing (getting humidity right is a pain). If it is all you have the only thing you can do is try it and see.
But please, please save your self the headache and invest some money (around $85) and get a good quality thermostat. That will save you trouble on trying to get the temp right and might save your snakes life. ----- Jeff
