Hi all,
My next acquisition will hopefully be a JCP this summer, and since I already have the cage equipment on hand, I've been playing with different heat sources and testing temps and humidity.
My current setup is intended for a young JCP and is 30" x 12" x 15". It has a nice perch as well as a large hide and water dish. It is heated by two incandescent fixtures, one 40watt daytime bulb and a 40watt night lamp. Currently I'm getting temps of about 78-84 ambient at different points in the cage, with an 88 degree basking spot high in the branches. Humidity is 40-60% depending on the location in the cage.
Does this sound good for a JCP? Thanks!! ----- ::i believe in joy > http://www.winds.org/nekomi/hope.html
