You should have no trouble obtaining Federal permit for interstate transport as long as breeder will supply letter stating that the Eastern you're obtaining is the result of captive breeding. Be ready to pay 500 - 1000 for a hatchling. Be careful: these snakes are so cool that you can't keep just one.
