Me too. I'm always surprised to hear people say they like hinged doors better but to each their own.



For me, it also really makes that Chondro cage stand out. The front just looks so much cleaner. It's my favorite of all the cages you made.



Also, how did you end up cutting the FRP?



The only reason I like the sliding doors better really is because I didn't have to worry about mortising out the frames for the hinges, lol. I would like them a LOT better if I had taken the time to clean up the front.. which I probably will eventually get to.



I ended up cutting it with just a fine tooth blade on a table saw. It was kinda old and rusted, but worked perfectly fine. Then I ran the pieces over a jointer to trim off little bits if need be.
