I bought shedding aid from petsmart and used that. It took 90 min of shedding aid and gentle rubbing to get all of it off. I'm suprised it took that long but I wanted to be very careful. I can't imagine if I had just let that left over skin build up after each progressive shed. It looked like it was squeezing the tip of his tail.
