The only think i want to add is for you to do your research on the breeder of the 100% het Kahl. Make sure that the genetics of the animal is promised by the breeder and that the animal is in good health. A female should be 3-4 years of age before breed, although it could breed earlier you are then risking the health of the female and decreasing her life expectancy. For males you can breed them as young as 18 months but i find they do better at about 24 months. Just seem to have a little more energy and a little more excited about the whole experiance. Once you get into these animals though you will learn that every day needs to be a learning experiance. And the more you learn the more healthy and happy your animals will be. It is a journey.
