I waited over a month before taking her to my vet. She seemed to be way past due and after examining her with ultrasound imaging we decided to do exploratory surgery. Turned out she had ruptured both oviducts and had fetuses free floating in her coelom. I was amazed that she was still alive. Took four hours of surgery to remove 25 dead fetuses and stitch up her oviducts. We were not able to determine what went wrong. [ Hide Replies ]
