I got my pueblan because I love the looks, too. When it was a baby, it was prone to biting...chewed and drew blood. Now that he's older, he doesn't bite anymore. However, he is spastic and nervous and more concerned with escaping than anything else...I suspect that being a small creature with no arms or legs and brilliant colors brings out this behavior. He is more of a chore than a joy to handle. This is a beautiful animal, a great eater and is small for a milk, but as far as temperament goes, my ball python puts him to shame. Keep in mind that any species of reptile has variations in temperament between individuals. Also keep in mind that when you get a milksnake, you are looking at a possible 20 year committment.
