Hello Room,
I currently have no reptiles but a very deep fascination with them. Last night I joined the Minnesota Herpetological Society. Each month at their meeting they adopt out rescue animals to their members and last night one of the adoptees was a 7 foot normal burm. After he was adopted the member who adopted him had him out to give him a thorough once over and let some of us handle him. What an amazing animal. I now have a much stronger awe and respect for these giant snakes. Even at that size his strength was pretty amazing. I think I am hooked though because I wasn't intimidated by the burm just fascinated. Someday when I have the space and someone who can be my backup I will have to have a burm. What great snakes!!!! My hat is off to those of you who raise them successfully.
