My male boulengeri prefers live rosey red minnows splashing in his water dish or on tongs, but I have been able to get him to eat very small pinks (both live and f/t) when offered just after a fish and scented with the fish. I have to do the "bait and switch". The breeder used guppies with the hatchlings. My female eates f/t pinks with no trouble.
I read on another forum last week that someone was feeding their boulengeri tadpoles (they didn't say what kind) and they said that was their natural food as small snakes. They felt that feeding mice was not healthy for the snakes. I haven't seen any other supporting information on that, but you might want to give it a try if you can find small tadpoles.
I do hope you can get those little snakes to eat on their own. Try the small fish in the water dish and see if they show interest in them.

>>Our R. Boulengeri don't take fish. I force feed them once a week. They are doing fine but are a little tiny. I hope they start eating themself that would be much better.
