1. Up to you. Digital is easier to read (since you can tare it with the push of a button) but more expensive and probably unnecessary. Let's face it, you're not going to be worried about 1/100th of a gram. Analog is cheaper.



2. 20gal long is generally considered to be the "standard" minimum size for an adult, so yours should be fine...but if you can spare the space to get a bigger one, why not do it?
