Nope, I would not give the guy a dime. He implied that he was selling you a live animal, which he did not. I would eat the shipping costs and mail it back to him. That was really lousy for him to do, shipping it that way anyway. In the future, make sure you only buy from people who have a written, live-delivery guarantee!!
