BARRs can put the vents wherever you want them. Plus they are easily tipped over to any direction you want them. So if you want those top vents (from the ones you bought on EBAY, for example) on the bottom, just turn the cage over. I have lots of BARRs cages and none of them have vents on the top, although they are not the arboreal cages. I ordered mine with back vents.
