it all depends on what kind of cham you have and how dr the air. do you have a humidity gauge? iwas running my humidifier for 15 minutes every hour and that is way to much. my jackson was always cold. i now run it 4 times a day every 3 hours for 20 minutes. defenately do some research and test with misting and see what the humidity reads. good luck matt
