Twenty-two days after shedding first female produced 13 eggs last night. The order of arrival starts in the NW corner and goes down each column. You should be able to distinguish the seven good eggs from the six bad. Just hours after deposition fertile eggs swell up and become firm. Even thought they have some granulation on the surface, the infertile eggs are smaller, mis-shapen, and off color. I'll keep them all for a week or so to be sure. The mother is about seven ft. long and is here on a breeding loan. She produced eight eggs that led to five hatchlings last year. Second Eastern female has shed and is due to lay in about two weeks. She's a much younger snake and bred exclusively with another male. She first produced eggs two years ago and then skipped last year.
