If you already have the picture uploaded somewhere, like in the Kingsnake photo gallery or PictureTrail or whatever, you can "embed" the picture into the message using html text. To do this, first get the URL (web link) of the picture itself, not the website it's on. Copy/paste it into the body of the message. Then in front of it, type .



If you don't want to embed the picture, like if you only have one picture to post or what you post to have the little "image" sign out beside it, you can put the picture link directly into the space down there where it says "Image URL". Using html is best when you want to post multiple pictures, type in between pictures..etc. The only downside to doing this is that it won't show your post as anything special, so you'll have to either say "pictures inside" or something in the post title, or just let people find out for themselves.



To show you an example of this, lets say I wanted to embed a picture into this message of one of my olive pythons. I already have the picture uploaded into my KS photo gallery, so I go find the picture, right click on it and click Properties, then copy/paste the URL of the picture itself (don't use the URL of the entire page, just the picture). This URL looks like this: http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/data/41019S_S_IMG_5202-med.JPG. So now, type in what I described above, and this is what happens:





If I didn't want to do what I did above, I could just paste that URL into the "Image URL" box at the bottom of this page, and it would post the picture at the bottom of the message like it did.
