If i was you I would give the little fella a bath. A little room temperature water in a small rubbermaid container will work just fine. Let it soak for a few minutes. Some will freak out when placed in water, but im sure after it realizes whats going on it should calm down. I bet he wants that shed off a lot more than you do. After a good soaking let him crawl through a damp wash cloth. I bet that skin will come right off. It sounds like you may need to watch the humidity in the tank. Next time you notice it going blue you might want to mist the tank for a few days to help. One really important thing I should mention is be sure it gets the skin off of the tip of its tail.
