B.c. orontii?

Chime in if I'm wrong here... but this sub-species isn't the boa commonly refered to as the Peruvian Red-Tail(looks nothing like Bcc) but identifies a red-tail that isn't available due to range(political dispute)? I know that it was fairly common years ago to refer to all Peruvians as B.c. orontii but this was a misnomer....
